Enough!

Since its founding, our democracy has wrestled with the question of what constitutes enough—enough freedom, enough opportunity, enough dignity—for different people. We declared independence because we refused to let a king decide what was enough. We fought a civil war because we rejected the idea that wealthy slaveholders could define what was just and enough. Today, in the age of artificial intelligence, we face a new crossroads. Once again, we must choose who gets to decide how much is enough—and whether AI will serve the futures we all deserve.
