Faith-Based Partnerships

RAISE-UP seeks to partner with, and be guided by, organizations of diverse faiths in helping communities understand and shape the impact of artificial intelligence. Our shared goal is to ensure that AI supports people, families, and communities in ways that reflect compassion, fairness, and opportunities for all to flourish.

To foster engagement, RAISE-UP proposes the creation of RAISE-UP Youth Competitions, an initiative designed to inspire students to compete with one another like sports teams, beginning with those at Catholic universities, to help educate and engage their communities around The American Dream Pledge. The challenge would invite students to develop creative ways to promote participation among faith-based organizations. Participants could earn recognition or prizes for pledges gained, outstanding presentations, social media campaigns, videos, or other innovative outreach efforts that demonstrate meaningful impact.

To further support collaboration, RAISE-UP also proposes developing optional tools and resources—such as customizable video templates and Faith-Based and Moral-Philosophical Leader Discussion Guides—that can be adapted or reinterpreted by local leaders to fit their communities. These materials are meant to serve, not direct, and will evolve through ongoing feedback and collaboration with faith-based partners.

 

We invite faith leaders to guide these efforts and help shape how this message can best serve their members and communities. Examples of early discussion guide drafts, developed with the assistance of Magisterium AI, are included below.
